For cosmetics, UltimoPure™ is a coined name derived from Ultimo (ultimate) and Pure (unmixed, genuine). It represents Croda Japan’s proprietary advanced refining technology, designed to enhance the performance of raw materials by removing trace.

Features of UltimoPure™
It represents a proprietary refining technology designed to produce exceptionally pure oils by removing impurities while preserving the original fatty acid composition and inherent characteristics of oils. This technology can also be applied to ester oils, petrolatum, and lanolin derivatives, enabling their use as higher-quality ingredients across a wide range of applications.
