This yogurt-texture emulsion combines two textures together, a high emolliency emulsion based on Arlacel™ 2121 and emollient oils, and a weightless sensory gel network based on Volarest™ FL polymer, prepared in a special procedure. Both emulsion and polymer gel are prepared separately before being blended to a homogenous cream. The emollients are specially selected. Plant derived Crodamol™ OO is highly compatible with vegetable oil and provides light sensory to the formulation. The Crodesta™ 6-IS provides water-holding properties and leaves skin feeling moisturised. Crodamol™ SFX is a readily biodegradable silicone alternative emollient ester possessing many of the benefits of Cyclomethicone D5. SP Crodamol™ GTCC MBAL is Croda’s sustainable palm oil variant which is a natural alternative to mineral oils. It is a light emollient with good lubricity.
