Honey has been around as long as bees and man has used it as a sweetener and food since the earliest times.

Ancient civilizations in Greece, Egypt and Italy already knew the wound-healing, moisturising and smoothing properties of honey. Japanese women used it for its cleansing properties and for radiance. Honey soothes the skin, increases capillary blood circulation, and ameliorates the appearance of skin.
