Sustainable hero ingredients: Crafting the next chapter of peptides for skin and hair
Performance and sustainability drive personal care innovation, renewing interest in hero ingredients like peptides and keratin. With well-established efficacy, the next step is improving their sustainability by reducing environmental impact through optimised manufacturing.
Advances in biotechnology allowed the creation of vegan peptide sequences that mirror human hair keratin, leading to KeraBio K31, a biomimetic, bond-building ingredient replacing traditional animal keratin.
The GAP Peptide Synthesis (GAP‑PS) merges the best of existing processes to make peptide production more sustainable, drastically cutting raw material and solvent use, hazardous waste, and purification steps, while eliminating CMR substances.
Join us for an exclusive webinar on 11 June 2026 to discover how these innovations are sharing the future of high-performance, sustainable hair care ingredients.
