Phytoliquid™ Henna GL

Add to favourites
Lawsonia inermis is a shrub frequently cultivated in the Middle East, along the African coast of the Mediterranean Sea and India. It is a very useful medicinal plant in all parts of the world. Besides its use in cosmetics for colouring of skin, hair, hand and nails, the leaves are used to prevent or protect against skin diseases. Indeed, in Ayurvedic medicine, henna has been used to treat skin infections such as mycosis. Decoction of the leaves is used for aseptic cleaning of wounds and healing. Henna is also used as ‘blood tonic’ and Egyptians used it as an astringent. Henna promotes healthy hair, helps to treat skin irritation and is a great anti-bacterial agent.
