Herbes de Provence Extract

Add to favourites
These four plants have a rich history as healing herbs. From the middle Ages, they have been grown in gardens as much as a remedy as an aromatic herb. The classical areas of use for oregano are in the treatment of coughs, stomach, intestinal problems and throat inflammation. Rosemary and thyme are highly treasured due to their antibacterial effect. Satureja is known to cure chest infections as well as to stimulate digestion. The main components of the leaves are the antioxidant rosmarinic acid, antibacterial essential oil (with mainly 1,8-cineole, carvacrol, camphor, alpha-pinene, thymol) and other terpenes with tonifying properties.
